Hotlanta

The final project for my CTD121 Introduction to Interior Design class was to complete
the design process for an urban loft. This project represented everything that I
learned during the semester in one project. It was very challenging and time consuming,
but I can honestly say that I enjoyed every step of the process. The department also
kept this project and made a power point presentation of my work for an example
for future students.

Mother Nature

In CTD121, I was assigned to find all of the elements and principles of design
on the UA campus and create a collage. During the search, I also had to find
something on campus that inspired me to add to the collage and make it
3-dimensional. I found a heart shaped rock hence the overall heart shape.
After taking a multitude of photos, I went through and chose the best images
to represent each element and principle. With a little editing, cutting, and gluing,
here is the final project! Yes, I realize that it isn’t a perfect heart but I made a
100 and the department kept it for an example!

Smell the Flowers

This is the very first image board I created in CTD121. Throughout the class,
I completed the entire design process for a 1 bedroom apartment.
This represents my “flower garden” concept for the apartment.
Much to my surprise, this was kept by the department as an example!
